Mark D'Arcy reports on a emotional day at Westminster as MPs debate - and reject - proposals that would have allowed doctors to help some terminally-ill people to die.
The Assisted Dying (no 2) Bill was defeated by an overwhelming majority in a free vote. The Bill would have changed the law in England Wales to allow two doctors - with the approval of a high court judge - to prescribe a lethal dose to someone with less than six months to live, who had asked for their life to be ended.
