At least 717 people taking part in the Hajj pilgrimage were killed yesterday in a stampede near the Islamic holy city of Mecca. Mohammed Jafari is an advisor to the Hajj and Umrah Travel, the first Hajj tour operator in the UK, which his father started founded 55 years ago.

Last month, an MP called for anti-malarial drug Mefloquine to be banned from being given to service-personnel after receiving dozens of letters from soldiers saying they had become severely depressed and anxious after taking it. Now a former US Army Doctor who's an expert on the side effects of Mefloquine says its 'no longer practical or safe' for the Ministry of Defence to continue prescribing it. We speak to Air Marshal Paul Evans, the Surgeon General of the UK Defence Medical Services.
