Mumford & Sons: Gentlemen of the Road

Mumford & Sons take us backstage and behind the scenes of their Stopover festival in Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands.

All four members of Mumford & Sons talk exclusively to Radio 1 as they take us backstage at their Gentleman of the Road Stopover festival in Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands.

The band decided to start putting on the Stopover tours so they could get all their favourite musician friends and artists they admire together in some of the most beautiful and remote parts of the UK and abroad.

Inviting us along to their event in the Scottish Highlands at the beginning of August 2015, Marcus, Ted, Ben and Winston talk us through the line-up, the scenery, the reasons they put these festivals on and where they hope to take them in the future.

Talking to the band over the two days of the festival we follow them in the build-up to their headlining gig at the end of the second day. We also meet some of the other artists playing the festival. Featuring The Maccabees, Lianne La Havas, Jack Garratt, King Charles and Rachel Sermanni.
