Nigel Ogden celebrates the Wurlitzer that started its musical life at the Elephant and Castle Trocadero in 1930 and which will shortly make its comeback at Stepney's Troxy Cinema.

A celebration of the Wurlitzer that started its musical life at the Elephant and Castle Trocadero in 1930, and which will shortly be making its comeback at Stepney's Troxy Cinema after a complete restoration. Featuring recordings from throughout the organ's 85 year existence including Quentin McLean performing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture in January 1932 right through to a recent Richard Hills performance given at the organ's most recent home, London's South Bank University.
