Russell Davies interviews A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell chats to American-born conductor and composer, Carl Davis CBE.

Carl has written music for over 100 television programmes - including The Naked Civil Servant and The Hound of the Baskervilles - and he won a BAFTA for scoring the film, The French Lieutenant's Woman, among his many credits and achievements. He tells Russell about the thought process behind his work and how this varies from screen to stage.
