Paul Gambaccini presents tracks from this week's US charts and hits from the last six decades.

Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. We hear 'I Only Have Eyes For You' by The Flamingos and 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1963 of 'Coolio' with his number one from 1995 'Gangsta's Paradise'. Paul pays tribute to songwriter Buddy Buie, who has recently died, by playing 'Traces' recorded by his group Classics IV. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'Hold On' by Wilson Phillips and a different song with the same title by En Vogue.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays tracks from the biggest selling albums by UK artists in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by Deep Purple and Wham!. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the 'Billboard' Hot 100. This week's examples are by Bill Justis and Janis Ian.

Our R&B number ones are from 1965 and now by Wilson Pickett and The Weeknd. We hear Country number ones from 2008 and this week by Sugarland and Little Big Town. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by Grateful Dead and Walk The Moon. The number one album is 'Black Rose' by Tyrese and the best-selling digital song of the week is 'Cheerleader' by OMI.
