Angaleena Presley in Session

Angaleena Presley joins Bob for a live session. She plays songs from her album 'American Middle Class' and discusses her career.

Angaleena Presley - a real life coal miner's daughter - joins Bob for a live session, playing songs from her album "American Middle Class" and discussing her career.

One third of country supergroup Pistol Annies - alongside Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe - Presley is one of the new breed of female country performers. Along with the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Brandy Clark she has a sharp lyrical style and a keen ear for a traditional country melody. The Daily Telegraph describes her as "mordantly honest" and her cv boasts spells of cashier work at Wal-Mart, and she is also a direct descendant of the original fightin' McCoys, participants in a murderous post-Civil War feud in rural Kentucky!
