Edi Stark sits in with OMD's Andy McCluskey, Fraser Taylor and New York's They Might Be Giants
Edi Stark sits in for Janice Forsyth and talks to OMD founder member Andy McCluskey ahead of the Rewind Festival, plus artist Fraser Taylor and They Might Be Giants drop in.
Edi will be talking to Dr Maureen Brown about the exhibition of the earliest surviving collection of art by a group of asylum patients in the world.
And, ahead of the Rewind festival in Scotland Edi will speak to one of the founder members of OMD - or to give it it's full title Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Andy McCluskey.
Plus, Scottish artist Fraser Taylor is now back on the colour and indeed back in Scotland from his adopted city of Chicago. His exhibition Bodies of Work is on at the House for an Art Lover in Glasgow and he will be joining us live from Glasgow.
We're joined by two previous Foyle Young Poets competition winners from Scotland, Magnus Dixon and Sophia Tait, ahead of the deadline for this years entries.
We hear about A Window to the West, a new exhibition at the Lime Tree Gallery in Fort William.
Edi announces her Single of the Week - Kathryn Joseph with The Bird.
And it's Vinyl Verdict Day, so Edi asks listeners to choose between two records to put the needle on at the end of the show. This week it's between Big Bad John by Jimmy Dean and Tiny Dancer by Elton John.
