Lauren Laverne has a live session from C Duncan, plus she sends another listener to the Desert Island Disco.

Lauren is joined by C Duncan live in session. Better known as Christopher, he'll be playing tracks from his debut album Architects. We've been playing him for a fair while on the show, and being the son of two classical musicians, he was always going to bring a special quality to his lush, acoustic-led music. And let's not forget about those harmonies! He recorded it in his Glasgow flat on a bedroom studio setup, gradually adding each layer and each instrument one at a time. When he was at school, instead of misbehaving he played in school bands adding guitar, bass guitar and drums to his existing repertoire of viola and piano, studying all five instruments at the same time. He's a really exciting musician, and we're glad to have him on our show.

Lauren will also send another listener to the Desert Island Disco, and Empire Magazine's Chris Hewitt will be reviewing the weekend in film.
