Dairy Farmers are reported to be leaving the industry in their droves - and unions are warning that another cut in . This week First Milk, the UK's largest milk co-operative, cut the price paid to dairy farmers by one penny per litre. But while there are a number leaving the industry there are those who venture into it....
We follow the trials and tribulations of Huw Clwyd, who farms in the lower Conwy Valley. He had just started converting his farm from sheep and beef cattle to dairy cows when the price of milk dropped in autumn last year.

The council has allayed fears that the 100yr old market was being earmarked for closure and the owners are keen to put an end to speculation that it's future is in jeopardy from development. But in recent years a number of town centre livestock marts have moved to out-of-town locations so is Mold Mart's long term future at the heart of the community secure?
Wales is rich in lake habitats and what better places to visit in this hot weather?Β Huw JenkinsΒ explores theΒ atmospheric, near Dolgellau, high up above the Mawddach inΒ Snowdonia that are perhaps one of the most pristine in Wales, with an abundance of plantlife. Meanwhile Gilbert John visits , near Llandeilo, in Carmarthenshire which boast a wide range of biodiversity, including being an important habitat for medicinal leech, amongst other interesting species.
