Hadrian’s Wall of Sound
An ambitious, visually spectacular musical relay will span 73 miles along the entire length of the iconic Hadrian's Wall on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Music Day on Friday 5 June.
The 'Hadrian's Wall of Sound' relay will begin at dawn from Bowness on Solway Marshes and draw to a triumphant conclusion at Wallsend.
For this unique feat around 600 musicians from diverse music communities along the wall will journey by bicycle, horse, open top vintage bus, motorbike and even unicycle, passing a baton from performer to performer.
The breath-taking scenery of the Wall will be complemented by a mix of sounds showcasing string quartets, bluegrass bands, hip-hop artists and many, many more performers lined up along the route.
