Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith present live from the An Roth community centre in Craignure on the Isle of Mull, looking out for otters, great northern divers and dolphins.
This Saturday, Out of Doors will be coming live from the balcony of the An Roth community centre in Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith will be looking out over a bay where we've been promised early morning sightings of otters, great northern divers and dolphins. But if the wildlife doesn't put in an appearance, there'll be a breakfast of local produce as compensation.
On the programme...
It's 30 years since the first white-tailed eagle chick fledged on Mull after the birds' reintroduction to Scotland. Mark and Euan hear how the UK's biggest raptor is flourishing on the island - but also the real economic impact it has on farmers who are losing lambs to a growing population of the birds.
A wild boat trip to the islands of Lunga and Staffa.
The community bus which is a lifeline to elderly residents on the west of the island.
How a new food trail map is helping visitors and locals buy local produce.
Plus, a walk to Asteriod Chasm on Erraid.
And Euan persuades a coach full of wildlife tourists to do a cuckoo impression.
