Rachael Garside is at the RSPB Conwy Reserve as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. Built from reclaimed land, it is now home to a wealth of wildlife.

RSPB Conwy Celebrates 20 Years
Just over twenty years ago the government decided to build a road tunnel through the Conwy estuary to reduce traffic congestion - it could have been disastrous for wildlife but with a bit of inspired thinking and hard work out of the mud new habitats and a popular reserve were created. celebrates it's 20th anniversary this year and Rachael Garside visits the reserve that now boasts 80,000 visitors, offering a chance for people to get close up to wildlife. And at this time of year it's change over time as the winter bird visitors depart and the summer ones arrive.
