Diana Henry and John Quigley discuss chicken, an ingredient often undervalued and taken for granted, plus Neil Forbes and Sue Lawrence demonstrate some chicken recipes.

"It tastes like chicken" is a phrase we hear often, but what does chicken actually taste like?

What once used to be a family treat maybe once a week has now become a meat that we enjoy much more frequently. But in doing so have we started to take chicken for granted? Food writer Diana Henry and chef John Quigley join The Kitchen CafΓ© to talk about their love of chicken and discuss how we have come to undervalue chicken.

Clare English finds out how to joint a whole chicken into its different parts.

Chef Neil Forbes makes chicken with a juniper marinade and cook Sue Lawrence makes parmesan coated drumsticks.
