Liam Logan marks International Women’s Day on Kist by talking to Myrtle Hill about Ulster Scots campaigner Margaret McCoubrey, and another strong woman, Flora MacDonald, is remembered in a fine song written by Brian McNeill. Liam hears from Kathryn White and Frank Ferguson of the Ulster-Scots Education Project about a new writing competition they’re launching, and there’s a rhyme from Wilbert MaGill.
