A look behind the scenes at the 2014 Tattoo Hebrides as the man behind it, Tony Robson, attempts to match the success of the previous event in 2009.

2009 saw a new event take place in Stornoway for the first time. When you think of a Tattoo you usually think of the world famous Edinburgh Tattoo. Five years back though one enterprising individual though he would take the format to the Isle of Lewis.

It was a huge success, and in 2014 Tony Robson, the man behind it all, decided to do it all over again. But a TΓ tu doesn't come together by itself! Trusadh spent a number of weeks with Tony and many of those taking part in the Tattoo in the run up to the big day.

Amongst those featured, some young dancers from Barra, and the Liniclate School Pipe Band. The world famous Simon Fraser University Pipe Band were also here, and there was a spectacular visit from some Vikings in the shape of the Jarl Squad from Shetland!

Will everything come together as planned: what will the weather be like? And will the 2014 Tatto Hebrides be as successful as the first one?
