James Runcie is a theatre director, documentary-maker and author.Β He is best known for βThe Grantchester Mysteriesβ.Β The lead character, Sidney Chambers (a clerical detective) is based on Jamesβ father, the late Robert Runcie who was the Archbishop of Canterbury.Β The books have been made into a TV series which aired last year and James will be presenting a ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 Lent Talk on 25th February.
