Russell Davies interviews A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell is in conversation with dancer and choreographer Gillian Lynne.
Gillian began dancing from an early age and joined Sadler's Wells Ballet during World War II. She went on to perform with the later named Royal Ballet in the likes of "Sleeping Beauty" and "Giselle". Following a successful transition to the West End, Gillian began working as a choreographer and is perhaps most well known for her work on Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats", "Aspects of Love" and "Phantom of the Opera".
She speaks to Russell about her art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by her career.
