Gardening challenge series with Fern Britton. In the semi-final, the five remaining gardeners must grow okra and use helichrysum to create eye-catching table swags.
It's the semi-final of The Big Allotment Challenge hosted by Fern Britton, and just five gardeners remain.
In the grow challenge, former royal gardener Jim Buttress tasks the amateurs with growing and showing okra, which usually grows in tropical climes. International floral designer Jonathan Moseley wants to see their helichrysum used creatively in eye-catching table swags. And finally, preserves queen Thane Prince wants crunchy pickles and tasty chutneys.
Which three gardeners will secure their place in the grand final? And which two will be going home for good?
