Despite being the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Middle East editor, it's six years since Jeremy was last in Iran. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ is not allowed to report from inside the country, so it can be hard to get an idea of what life's like. So using social media, we're taking a virtual tour, meeting the , skiing, partying and driving fast cars -as well as people who are struggling in the poorer South.Β
We'll hear from an entrepreneur who returned home to set up a thriving tech business despite the problems of trading under sanctions. We'll be discussing what the future holds for Iran, if the nuclear talks fail. And as the 36th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution which overthrew the Shah of Iran approaches, we speak with Empress Farah Pahlavi, the former Queen of Iran.
