Tom Morton highlights the career of indie pop group Belle & Sebastian in Then and Now, plus he plays tracks by American rockabilly musician Carl Perkins in Hit and Miss.
Tom Morton opens his record bag to play the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe, Last Orders and Early Morning Soul. In Sideman's Journey Tom plays more tracks associated with Martin Ditcham and in the Glen's Grooves feature, artist and author Glen Vaudrey selects another track from his eclectic record collection. In Hit & Miss, Tom plays a one hit wonder and a follow up flop from Carl Perkins, who was an American rockabilly singer, guitarist and songwriter and in the Then & Now feature, looks across the career of indie pop band Belle & Sebastian.
