Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith celebrate the joys of walking. Mark takes a walk along a disused railway line in Ayrshire and Euan goes on a micro-adventure in a city centre park.
This weekend, we're celebrating the simple joy of walking. Mark takes a walk through Burns country on one of Ayrshire's disused railway lines, we meet the man who's spending 18 months walking every nook and cranny of Britain's mainland coast, Euan goes on a microadventure in a city centre park and exploring the start of the new extension to the Speyside Way. Also on the programme...sweeping their way to success, the Vale of Alford Curling Club celebrate the start of their 140th season and Mark feels the heat during a visit to Scotland's first chilli farm. We hear the latest on the milk price crisis, why sporting estates might lose agricultural farm subsidies plus the producers growing salmon, seaweed, scallops and sea urchins alongside each other.
