Russell Davies interviews A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell is in conversation with singer Kiki Dee.

Dee's recording career began as a session singer, performing backing vocals for the likes of Dusty Springfield. She went on to become the first white, British artist to sign to Motown's Tamla Records, and later signed to Elton John's label The Rocket Record Company. She became a household name when she performed with Elton on the 1976 hit single "Don't Go Breaking My Heart". Kiki Dee has also gone on to work in theatre, receiving an Olivier Award nomination in 1989 for her role in Blood Brothers.

She speaks to Russell about her art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by her career.
