Johnnie Walker hears 70s memories from singer Jimmy Somerville.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Carole King, Cheap Trick and The Clash.

This week the singer Jimmy Somerville remembers the decade in the My 70s feature. Born in Glasgow in the early sixties, the seventies were his formative years before forming Bronski Beat in 1983. Best known for the number three hit Smalltown Boy, the group would release three albums in the decade before Somerville formed The Communards. He went on to release eleven albums in his solo career, with his latest single Travesty released in 2014.

Also on the show, Johnnie will revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
