The Ting Tings are live in session, plus Janice Forsyth hears about a new production of The BFG and Scottish Ballet director Christopher Hampson talks about The Nutcracker.
The Ting Tings are live in session.
Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Scotland, Laurie Sansom, talks us through their 2015 programme, following up this morning's launch.
Award-winning Scottish artist, Ruth Nicol has created a new collection of work in response to Alexander Moffat's famous painting from 1980 , 'Poet's Pub', depicting seven of the great modern Scottish poets; Hugh MacDiarmid, Edwin Morgan, Norman MacCaig, Sorley Maclean, George MacKay Brown, Robert Garioch and Iain Crichton Smith. Ruth and Sandy Moffatt will be in studio to talk about the project.
We hear about a new production of The BFG and how they've worked out the tricky problem of representing the Giant himself on stage.
Artistic Director Christopher Hampson talks about their first production in 17 years of the founder of Scottish Ballet, Peter Darrell's, version of The Nutcracker.
And Editor of The List, Yasmin Sulaiman, gives us her pick of what's quirky and fresh among the seasonal shows happening around Scotland this Christmas.
