Winifred Robinson hears from people who have had bariatric surgery to lose weight, and from those considering it. Experts say procedures like gastric bands can save the NHS money.
Call You and Yours is asking if you would ever consider having weight loss surgery.
Experts from the National Bariatric Surgery Registry say a gastric band might not only help people to lose weight but in the long term - could also cut costs for the NHS.
We are keen to hear your experience. Have you tried all the diets under the sun and are now wondering if a gastric band could be the solution?
