Sean Curran reports on events at Westminster where the Government comes under attack over its decision to withdraw support for future search-and-rescue operations for migrants in the Mediterranean.

A cross-party group of MPs calls on ministers to review the "failing" Misuse of Drugs Act after the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Office publishes a report that found "no obvious relationship" between tough drug laws and levels of drug abuse.

Tributes are paid in the Scottish parliament to the former Scottish Labour leader, Johann Lamont, following her resignation.

And there were calls in the House of Lords for a public inquiry into the conduct of the war in Afghanistan.
