The Matador

The Lad uses Sid's travel agency for a Spanish holiday, not knowing that he also books bullfighters. Stars Kevin McNally. From 2014.

The first modern sitcom, Hancock's Half Hour, made stars of Tony Hancock, Sid James and Kenneth Williams, and launched Ray Galton and Alan Simpson as one of the most successful comedy-writing partnerships in history.

But 20 episodes of the show were missing from the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ archives, until four highly successful series lovingly reimagined them before a live audience at the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Theatre.

In this recreation: the Lad uses Sid's travel agency to book a holiday in Spain, little knowing that Sid also runs a bullfighting business...

Written by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.
