HOSPITAL FOOD:
The NHS in Scotland is being criticised once again about the quality of hospital food. Newspaper reports today suggest that the food and drink budgets are being cut and one newspaper is spearheading a campaign to highlight the problem. But what are your experiences, good or bad? Should it be of the highest possible quality or do you see it purely as fuel and something you want to have very little of before getting home again?

Louise asks: How important is the quality of hospital food to you?

PUBLIC TOILETS
Businesses in Edinburgh could be asked to open their toilets to the public as council facilities are closed to save money. Shops, cafes and restaurants in 'urban villages' such as Bruntsfield and Canonmills willing to sign up to a 'community toilet scheme' would display adverts telling passers-by their facilities are available. It would be hoped that free publicity in council brochures and custom from members of the public who're caught short would encourage owners to take part. The council hope to save a reported 拢300,000 by cutting conveniences outside the city centre but the proposal (that's at the consultation stage) has been met by a mixed reaction.
