New research shows that Shisha cafes are seen by their customers as a kind of alcohol-free multicultural alternative to bars, pubs and nightclubs.听What happens in a place that looks and sounds like a club when alcohol is taken out of the equation? We hear from one of Blackburn鈥檚 popular shisha cafes and Jenni speaks to Dr Kate O鈥橞rien, the co-author of new research on shisha culture.

The Queen of southern soul Candi Staton talks to Jenni about her 50 year career in the music industry. Since gospel singing in the 1950鈥檚, she has become famous for pop hits such as 鈥淵ou鈥檝e Got the Love鈥 and 鈥淵oung Hearts Run Free鈥.听Her honest lyrics describe her often rocky home life and she explains how making music has been the therapy (and the love) she needed to see her through.
