The Welsh Dairy Show, Aquaponics and Slow Food
The Welsh Dairy Show took place in Carmarthenshire this week at a time when the milk industry is beset with problems. Rachael Garside visits the show and hears about those issues and how the Welsh Government's Deputy Farming Minister's might improve confidence in the dairy industry in Wales.
Aquaponics - agriculture students from as far away as Nepal and Denmark have been working on a farm in Monmouthshire this week in less space without harming the environment.
And Slow Food - the antidote to fast food - small, artisan producers from across the world gather in Italy this week to celebrate "good, clean and fair" produce, defending regional traditions, gastronomic pleasure and a slow pace of life. We catch up with the delegates of the recently devolvedheading to Turin as they renew their efforts to highlight the importance of a more positive food culture in Wales.
