Clues:
With my friends Chopin and Liszt I was one of the most celebrated virtuoso pianists in Paris, a city in which I spent most of my life.
I was a talented linguist, fluent in Hebrew and Greek, and I devoted much time to a complete new translation of the Bible into French.
Legend has it I met a rather grisly end underneath a bookcase.
