Another Day

Alison Millar returns to see what has happened to some of the families living in the toughest parts of Belfast, twenty years on from filming them just before the first ceasefire.

In the summer of 1993, just before the first ceasefire, film-maker Alison Millar documented the lives of families living in some of the toughest parts of Belfast. More than twenty years on, she returns to see not only how life has treated them, but also their communities, which were once at the heart of the conflict.
