Jonathan Edwards presents continued coverage of the 2014 Great North Run in a special broadcast celebrating the millionth finish of the world's biggest half-marathon. Lord Coe is at South Shields to greet the millionth finisher as the Great North Run becomes the first running event in the world to celebrate the milestone. Live updates from out on the course come from Denise Lewis, Colin Jackson, Tina Daheley and Phil Jones.
As part of the celebration of the millionth finisher, the programme also includes highlights from a special opening ceremony held on the Quayside in Newcastle, featuring performances by Sting, Mark Knopfler and Chase and Status.
Commentary on the race comes from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter, Brendan Foster and former world marathon and half-marathon champion Paula Radcliffe.
