Janice Forsyth speaks to author Ruth Rendell about her 50-year career and comedian Hattie Hayridge talks about appearing at events such as Scotland Comic Con.
Comic Con Scotland comes to Glasgow this weekend. Among the guests appearing is comedian Hattie Hayridge, still much loved for her role in Red Dwarf. She tells Janice about the appeal of appearing at conventions.
Ruth Rendell's first novel was published fifty years ago this summer, and her latest book has just arrived in bookshops. Janice speaks to her about her career in crime fiction.
Plus live music from Glasgow band First Charge Of The Light Brigade, artist Heather Phillipson talks about her new exhibition at Dundee Contemporary Arts, and there's a preview of TV drama Castles In The Sky, which tells the story of a wartime Scottish scientist.
