Clare English speaks to three different people about being diagnosed with Autism in adulthood and explores how their previous misdiagnosis has impacted on their lives - and how life has changed since learning they have this condition.
In this week's episode, we hear from David who was diagnosed with Asperger's - a form of autism - at the age of 62. David explains how he always felt different and struggle to understand people and the world he lived in. We also hear from his wife Pat, who explains the challenges of living with someone who is so rigid in their thinking and simply does not get small-talk or political correctness, which has made for some very awkard moments at social occasions.
