Patrick takes over Saturday mornings for the next three weeks and welcomes Denise Van Outen to the studio.
Denise is bringing a new one-woman musical play, Some Girl I Used To Know, to London's West End.
In the story, which Denise co-wrote with Terry Ronald, her character Stephanie Canworth has it all; a successful career, supportive husband and she's a media darling. But it takes just one Facebook poke from a former love and the memories come flooding back. Songs from the 80s and 90s accompany Stephanie's journey down memory lane in this intimate, funny and warm story about life and love, with Denise performing cover versions of torch songs by Soft Cell and Culture Club, among others.
Denise Van Outen's Broadway and West End performances include Tell Me on a Sunday, Chicago, Rent: Remixed and Legally Blonde, and her television roles include Mary in Hotel Babylon, Michaela in The Empress' New Clothes, Leigh Jackson in two series of Babes in the Wood and Kim Blakeney in two series of Where the Heart Is. She was runner-up in the 2013 Strictly Come Dancing.
As the award winning production team return to Thornhill Community Academy in Dewsbury to catch up with all the pupils and teachers and visit on results day, Patrick invites Mr Burton & Mr Steer from Educating Yorkshire to talk about the experience and the way the school has changed.
Best known as the only human in the hugely popular Rainbow, Geoffrey Hayes is also a main character in the recently released Z Cars DVDs. He will be describing his perfect weekend.
