Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell is in conversation with cellist Julian Lloyd Webber.

At the age of sixteen, Julian won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, and completed his studies with renowned cellist Pierre Fournier in Geneva in 1973. Over the course of his career, he has won a BRIT award for his Elgar Cello Concerto, collaborated with a wide variety of musicians including Elton John and Cleo Laine, and performed at the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

He speaks to Russell about his art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by his career.
