Frank Renton with some new releases and some requests including a march dedicated to the first 100 thousand men who died in WW1, Kenneth Alford's sombre but stirring The Vanished Army. We hear music from the all girl group Bones Apart and sample the great playing of Philip Cobb in a piece written for him by Kenneth Downie from a new release celebrating the musical traditions of the Cobb family.
