T in the Park, Charlie Waite, Midweek Blues
Janice Forsyth celebrates the T in the Park festival and talks to esteemed landscape photographer Charlie Waite.
Today we have a T in the Park theme. As the festival gears up for its last year in the site it's occupied for 18 years we'll be listening to some of the great bands who've headlined there. Geoff Ellis, the man who created the festival, and music journalist Nicola Meighan will be sharing some T in the Park memories.
Esteemed landscape photographer and founder of the Landscape Photographer of the Year Award, Charlie Waite, looks back at his long career so far- which began when he was an actor fascinated by the work of the lighting technicians on set- and gives us insights into his approach to taking stunning pictures of our beautiful country.
Midweek blues? Journalist Nicola Meighan will be lifting our spirits by recommending her pick of the arts and cultural events happening in Scotland right now.
Naromode' meaning 'narrative fashion', is the creative venture of textile designers Anna Thorn and Iain MacDonald and we'll be hearing how they use stories as a stimulus to create textile designs for clothing.
And singer-songwriter Angus Munro will be playing live for us and talking about how to build a career on the festival circuit as he starts out as a solo artist.
