Murdered by My Boyfriend

Every 30 seconds the British police receive a 999 call to a domestic violent incident and recent statistics show that 89% of repeated domestic abuse is perpetrated against women. Many people believe it only happens to older, married women, but girls aged 16 to 24 are more likely to experience violence from their boyfriends than their adult counterparts. On average, two women in Britain die each week as a result of domestic violence. Murdered by My Boyfriend – on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Three next Monday - tells the heart-breaking story of one young woman who, despite years of physical and emotional abuse, couldn’t escape her relationship.
