Louise White asks if children need lessons on how to use the NHS.
TOPIC 1: TRIDENT
The British Social Attitudes Survey says that although Scots remain resolutely opposed to nuclear weapons, 41% of people in Scotland believed Trident nuclear submarines should continue to be based at Faslane on the Clyde after independence, while 37% said they should not. In England and Wales, just over a quarter (26%) of people agreed that Britain's nuclear weapons should continue to be based in Scotland if it becomes an independent country, while 63% said they should either "definitely" or "probably" be moved elsewhere. The Scottish government has pledged to remove all nuclear weapons from Scotland after independence.
Louise asks: Do you want Trident in Scotland and if so why?
TOPIC 2: NHS LESSONS
At the upcoming BMA meeting calls will be made for lessons on which NHS services should be used when to be included in the curriculum. They will discuss the motion calling on governments 'to develop a requirement for all schools to introduce a new element to curricula which educates young people across the UK in the appropriate, safe and effective use of health services'.
Louise asks: Do children need lessons on how to use the NHS?
