Stand up and television comedian Phill Jupitus talks to Edi Stark about being a 'love child' in a time when illegitimacy was taboo. He describes his childhood, growing up in a pub and his decision to take his step father's surname. His first job was as a clerical officer in a job centre but his life changed when he met his hero, Billy Bragg and again, when his girlfriend got pregnant and he realised he had only nine months to crack the London comedy circuit.
