5 Live listener Paul Edwards talks to the care minister, Norman Lamb, and tells him the first he heard about possible NHS funding to help care for his father-in-law, who has Alzheimers, was listening to Victoria's programme. Last month Paul heard a discussion around 'NHS Continuing Care', the support the state is supposed to provide for people with serious debilitating illnesses. Critics say the system isn't working and are demanding Norman Lamb does something about it.

It comes in a report from the former City Minister, Lord Myners, who says the business, which declared an annual loss of two and a half billion pounds last month, has become dysfunctional because of management in-fighting.
