Kirsty Wark asks if we should give money to beggars. And should talking on hands-free in the car be banned?

The head of the Highland Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔless Trust has said we should think twice before giving money to beggars, as it might be counter-productive and lead to them spending the money on drink and drugs. He said that a better option would be to direct them to charitable organisations, and donate your money to those charities instead.
Just over ten years after hand-held mobiles were banned at the wheel, road safety charity Brake is renewing its call to ban hands-free kits, as a survey reveals that almost half of drivers talk on the phone when driving.
