As part of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 18th Century season, Carole Cerasi gives a recital of Handel, Scarlatti and Croft on the Royal Collection's Burkat Shudi harpsichord in the Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace. Built in 1740, the harpsichord is thought to have been purchased by Frederick, Prince of Wales, son of George II.
This concert has been created in partnership with Royal Collection Trust, to coincide with the exhibition The First Georgians: Art & Monarchy 1714-1760 at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace
