Stephen Duffy is joined by Richard Michael, who presents his first Piano Party with SNJO director Tommy Smith. Plus bassist Jaco Pastorious features in Pocket Legends.
Stephen welcomes back Richard Michael to present his first Piano Party with guest Tommy Smith, the director of the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra. Richard will be delving into Tommy's musical background and then perform a song together.
The Pocket Legend this week is composer and virtuosic bass player Jaco Pastorious who combined Afro Cuban rhythms with funk and we have another jazz artist who has gone pop in Jazz Goes Pop!
There's music from Scottish supergroup Algorhythmical and the latest artist to be announced for the Glasgow Jazz Festival, Sons Of Kemet.
