Artist David Martin on Hidden Door Festival; Mitch Benn on being a Beatle; author and activist Elif Safak on the state of democracy in Turkey and Planet Earth cameraman Doug Allen.

Artist David Martin tells Janice about the ambitious arts project, Hidden Door Festival taking over the disused vaults on Edinburgh's Market Street from the 28th March.

Musical satirist Mitch Benn strums away at his guitar as he talks to Janice about his tour of 'Mitch Benn is the 37th Beatle'.

Union, Tim Barrow's bold and boisterous play centred on the 1707 Act of Union currently running at The Royal Lyceum Theatre, could hardly be more timely. Janice hears about the piece and how it's being received from Lyceum artistic director Mark Thomson and Barrow himself.

Award winning wildlife cameraman Doug Allen whose camera work includes Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Life and Frozen Planet tells us about his experiences with some of the world's most majestic animals.

And author, columnist, academic and activist Elif Safak speaks to Janice about her fears for democracy in her home country of Turkey.
