Johnnie plays all the big seventies hits and author and former band manager Mark Rye remembers the decade in My 70s.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Leo Sayer, Linda Ronstadt and Led Zeppelin.

This week the author Mark Rye remembers working for record labels and managing bands in the My 70s feature. Time at EMI and Raft Records gave him access to groups including Pink Floyd, the Sex Pistols and Ian Dury, who all are covered in his new book Over Under Sideways Down. The book covers some of Mark's favourite stories from his life in music, including contributions from DJs, roadies, journalists and some of the British music industry's unique characters.

Also on the show, Johnnie will revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
