A soldier who thought he was going to die after being shot through the neck by the Taliban is being honoured for bravery. Plus how satisfied are you in your job?

A soldier who thought he was going to die after being shot through the neck, but who still picked up his gun and carried on fighting Taliban snipers in Afghanistan for another 90 minutes, is being honoured today. Lance Corporal Simon Moloney is being awarded alongside his best friend and colleague army medic Lance Corporal Wes Masters who ran across open ground under heavy gunfire to rescue his colleague.

Plus how satisfied are you in your job? A new report suggests that if you're a farmer, fitness instructor or vicar you're apparently happy in your work. If you're a pub landlord, in telesales or a rent collector you're not so much. That report urges the government to publish job satisfaction data for every profession - so people can see not just whether a job will earn them a resonable living, but also if it'll make them happy.
